Open this in Chrome
This page talks to the panel over USB. Safari and Firefox can't do that. Open it in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge on a Mac.
Plug the panel in
USB-C from the panel to this Mac.
The panel can stay on. Nothing changes until you press Update.
Can't see the panel?
- The cable. Some USB-C cables only charge. Use one that carries data (the one that came with the panel does).
- The driver. The panel's USB chip needs the free WCH CH34x driver on a Mac: download it, install it, then allow it in System Settings > General > Login Items & Extensions > Driver Extensions. Unplug and plug the panel back in.
- The browser. Chrome or Edge. Not Safari.
- Still nothing. On the back of the panel: hold BOOT, tap RESET, let go of BOOT. Then Connect again.

Pick another version
Going back to an older version is for when the new one misbehaves. Settings and paired phones stay; features newer than that version go away until you update again.
Backing up
Everything on the panel, copied to this Mac first. Seconds.
Updating - don't unplug
0%
About a minute. The panel shows UPDATING - DON'T UNPLUG, then restarts.
Checking
Done
Unplug the panel. Your phone links again by itself (open HARD STOP if it doesn't).
That didn't work
The panel is safe to unplug and plug back in. The backup is still on this Mac. Then press Try again.
